Sun Devil arrived on earth in the form of a comet, crashing into a local volcano, which he immediately capped with black ice. His attitude toward the Troopers is strictly business-like, he is only doing his job, which is to capture the Inferno armor for Talpa.
    
Sun Devil is very similar to a ninja though he isn't identified as one. He seems able to make clones of him self. Each clone is not an illusion but rather a new physical being, capable of inflicting damage on his opponents.
